Help needed with Desktop Recorders

I just saw a clip that was a desktop recording of a designer that showed all he did in Illustrator and then talked about it as well. He talked about why he designed a product the way he did, his choice of colors and the overall design aspects while he was doing it.

Does anyone know of a good program that records desktop? He seemed to be able to show some part of it quicker, while he was talking real time. Very impressive.

If you have Snow Leopard Quicktime 10 can do that.
