Help with spam?
Ivan | Tue, 2010-05-25 08:25Folks, I'm trying to keep the site spam free, but occasionally some spam topics and comments get through the filters.
I was wondering if you're interested to help me out in manually deleting a spam when you come across it while your browse CB.
I'm in Australia, so somebody from the Americas and Europe would be good. Three of us would cover the whole 24 hours.
Commenting on this Forum topic is closed.

I'd be happy to help out with that, and can cover GMT (london).
Happy to help if needed Ivan. I work from home, so no boss looking over my shoulder and I am not that busy this month.
I'm available by email if you need a chat about what's required

Thanks a lot guys. I really appreciate it. I gave you permissions to delete spam.
No problem Ivan.
The Links page has three at the top, a body building supplement, some weird herbal mixture and some apartments for rent. I can't delete them.

Deleted those spam topics. And removed the whole links section, it's not relevant anymore in the age of digg, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
Talk to Andrew Hedges - he's got a spam filter on his blog that is probably bar none the best I've ever seen. He works at @digg now.
