I'm using a Macbook Pro and Adobe CS2. Everything else works except for my illustrator. Anyone knows what's wrong?

If you need a logo for your company or product you can get it done with us.
In our logo store you can pick from over 28,000 pre-made logos that will be customized to your name for free or you can post a contest for us for just $250 and our designers from all over the world will submit dozens of logo design suggestions to your specific needs.
What sort of symptoms are you having?
Three options: 1. repair permissions: apps/utilities/disk utility/repair permissions 2. Delete your pref and plist files for Illustrator and restart the app to see if that forces it to work or 3. reinstall illustrator.

Hi Natobasso,
My illustrator won't even start. The illustrator icon jumps around on my dock and then disappears.
Tried your 3 recommendations.
1 - Same thing happens, illustrator won't start
2 - i don't seem to have the plist to my ilustrator
3- reinstalled 3 times.
Thanks for your help.
When you search for 'Illustrator' you don't see a .plist file?

May be version of illustrator is not correct. Try to reinstall.
I have a dumb question—did you install the correct platform (i.e. Mac on a Mac, Windows on a PC)? I know that was a stupid question, and I apologize. But I have to ask. You never know. You may have received the WRONG platform for your hardware.
Next, it just might be possible that you received a bad copy. If that's the issue, then I would definitely bring it back to where you originally purchased it. If you purchased it online directly through Adobe, try giving them a call and see what they recommend. Although I know (from recent posts) that dealing with ADobe directly can be a nightmare.
Honestly, I don't know what else to suggest. Hopefully, somebody else will have another suggesetion for you. Good luck!
