But who thinks about Neue Haas Grotesk?
Neue what? :D
1957 - Max Miedinger makes Haas Grotesk based on Akzidenz Grotesk.
1959 - After adding more weights to the font, it's renamed Neue Haas Grotesk.
1960 - The font is published worldwide under the name of Helvetica.
1983 - Linotype introduces Neue Helvetica, a slightly better version of Helvetica.
1989? - Microsoft makes it's own version of Helvetica and calls it Arial.
That's very enlightening.
