I was wondering if anyone here knows the secrets of hollywood retouching of photographs. Not so much as making bob dylan look like jude law, but you know the airbrushed, silicon implanted, photoshopped celebrities we all believe really look that way all the time.

The best thing to do imo would be to get some glamour shots, close ups and study them trying to see where the retoucher had slipped up
oh two more things..
- insane attention to detail :)
- get a 2nd opinion or 3rd or 4th! when you work on something so hard, you start to miss things as you focus on particular bits, the opinons always help

i saw one of the first posts on the site back when you first started. I was looking for pics and tricks, for a speech my fiancee is giving on media and thin bodies, you know unrealistic ideals of how you should look and how the media creates it took make on feel more inadequete.
