HotZone
Waleed (539 pencils) | Wed, 2006-08-30 08:24I took this photo yesterday for a client setting up a WiFi hot zone in a commercial street in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.. With so many people offering wireless services, the one to stand out between the crowd is this service with its new broadband FREE "HotZone".. I suggested the idea to the ad agency and they liked it :)
The word "HotZone" will be written next to the red pepper.

Thanks Drugo,
The ad agency had a meeting today with the customer, and the idea was rejected as "We're not in the business of selling chili pepper or spicy food". Such a response really disappointed me and defined the boundaries of vision in such a customer.
I've seen clients who follow very safe and direct approaches in their ads, and they refuse to try something more aggressive.. But this one was very painful.

Is pretty old and exploited at maximum the chilli pepper effect. In first instance the ad agency must tell you that after 1st review.
Also the green ones can be very chilli :)
Hmmm, I never knew that..
Being a copycat is something I avoid all the time.

i don't think you are copying, it's very effective. too bad about the client...
Thanks..
I thought I wasn't copying either, and the ad agency is very reputable and international. So, they've had a wider exposure than mine..
But I guess everybody is entitled to an opinion.. :)
