How can I rotate a brush in PS?
acm7110 (60 pencils) | Wed, 2004-10-06 02:59I'm looking for a way to rotate a brush on the fly, somethig similar to press "[" or "]" to change the size dinamically. Anybody know how???
Thanks in Advance.

If you do have a wacom tablet, it is possible to link the rotation to the inclination of your stylus. And I wonder if it would be possible to use the strip touch function of the new intuos 3.
I'd like to be able to assign keys like you say...
Maybe posting in the features request of Adobe?

Now this isn't an "on the fly" solution, but what you could do is open a new document, make one brush stroke on a new layer, rotate it to your liking, and then hit Edit>>Define Brush Preset. Not a really quick solution, but it would do the trick.

Yes, I'm have a Wacom tablet, I try whit this or with the layers tip.
Thanks to all for your help.
Yes, you could also create several brushes tips, and use the previous/next brush ( < and > ) shortcut...
But I'd definitively play with the brush settings in the brush palette (not the one you get when you Control+click - or Right click, if you're from the dark side)
