hI THERE.. would anyone know how to automatically create even spacing between objects in In design CS2?

I think it's the same as in illustrator, etc. In your align/distribute palette.
It is indeed. You can use the 'Distribute Objects' options in the 'Align' palette (checking that the 'Use Spacing' tick-box is un-checked - unless you want a specified spacing).
