how do i use free fonts off the internet?
mikelufholm (78 points) | Mon, 2009-04-27 22:05ive found a free font i wanna use and ive downloaded it, but cant figure out how to use it in photoshop. can anyone help me out with this?

are you using a mac? If yes, here's what I do. I save the font to the desk top and then I open a finder window and go to myuser/library/Fonts folder and then I drag the font file into that folder. When I restart photoshop the font is there. Just don't make the same mistake I did and that is drag a whole load of free font's in because it can really slow stuff down.

Open your zip and the window should have "Install Font" at the bottom of the window. That is if your using a Mac.
