How to Create Table of Contents with Character Style

Hi to All

Is anybody know how to create tabel of contents in InDesign (CS or CS2) if you have any charater style. I have two different styles in same line one is as chacter style other is paraghraph style. I want to call charater style in Table of Contents. Please help me if you know
