How to drag image from Firefox ti Photoshop
cosmos (30 pencils) | Fri, 2007-10-19 23:15On the PC, i was using this way to pass some photos directly to photoshop, but on Mac, I have problem, simpy, it doesn't work :(
I can drag an image from Safari to PS, it works.
I can drag an image from Firefox to Mail.app it works.
I can drag from firefox to desktop, all works but in photoshop, he dont wants grrrr
is anybody found a sollution?

Right click/control click the image. 'copy image'. Then paste into a new photoshop document.

hi natobasso, thnx for anwser.
also I can drag photo to safari, and drag it from safari to PS, but thats all is only substitute for what I need, and dont know why doesn't work, for now, I'm using 'drag to desktop and drag to ps' it's almost faster than example you give.
osx is drag'n'drop powered :D so I dont know why doesn't work, and on Win it does?

For some reason you can drag the image to the tab bar and it will isolate it, then drag that image to ps. Works on pc, probably does the same on mac. Here's an article to back that up:

Not sure why -- must be the way firefox handles images.

yes,, all that is ok and is workin' properly (drag to tab) but again, photo dont want go out of firefox :))), I dont understand..
I can drag photo from firefox to desktop, mail.app but not in PS.
I can drag photo from safari, desktop whatever in PS. don't know who is making problems, PS or firefox, I was searchin in about:config of firefox but can fin variable that protect's draging..
I was searching, strage, but no one is complaining about that "bug"?

Type this into an empty firefox window and you can search through all of its extensions. I haven't found the right one yet for image handling, but this article might shed some light:

but before I start diggin into about:config,, I want to wich app is not working, PS or firefox, because, I can drag an image to desktop, so draging is working, I can drag from safari to PS so PS draging is working..
