How to get rid of version cue icon from menubar?

Since the MBP doesn't run version cue and i'm not using it anyway I want to get rid of that icon from my menubar. How can I do that? I can't run the sys prefs to switch it off because it would not start.

Things must be different with the MBP as with my G5 there is a checkbox under system preferences that lets you remove the icon from the menubar. Maybe there is a compatability problem with it, doesnt like Intel. :)

Go into the system preferences and there is a version cue icon in there that allows you to remove the icon.

Problem is, the version cue preferences pane doesn't run on the MBP either :/

Aha, I found the uninstaller application in /Applications/Adobe Version Cue CS2 to very effectively remove the menu item.
