How to save InDesign documents into a lower version?

I have CS3 and CS2 documents and sometimes I need to save them in a format that my colleagues can work on them in CS. Is there a way to archive that?

I've tried to export in InDesign Interchange format and XML, but neither of the two worked.

I have used InDesign Interchange format and it works. Make sure they have the InDesign 3.0.1 update.

This April 2005 (CS2 Compatibility) update for Adobe InDesign CS 3.0.1 software provides key fixes that allow users to open InDesign Interchange (INX) format files exported from InDesign CS2 in InDesign CS.
