Hpw to install it pugins in da "Gimp"?

the information is missing...they even ask if anybody can help
and write up how to install them.
The plugin I need to install ends with the extension .scm
Boy I bet Adobe hates The Gimp :D (freeware!)

i tried Gimp it but i couldn't get used to it. i guess it would take month before i would feel comfortable with it.
oh, i can't help you pompo. sorry :)
Should be a drop into the directory $HOME/.gimp-2.2/plug-ins and open up Gimp. It'll find them.
Problem is all these files are 'hidden' in the finder unless you modify to show all hidden files, which would require TinkerTool or other means.
that's where I dropped it at, but it doesn't show up under
the filters menus or even under the Xtns
