HTML 5 Showcase by Apple
Ivan | Sat, 2010-06-05 01:42
The demos linked from the image above show how the latest version of Apple’s Safari web browser, new Macs, and new Apple mobile devices all support the capabilities of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Not all browsers offer this support. But soon other modern browsers will take advantage of these same web standards — and the amazing things they enable web designers to do. (You need Safari to view this demo.)

Mark Pilgrim's 'Dive into HTML5' (http://diveintohtml5.org/) is a great starting point.
Combine some of the features HTML5 allows with CSS3 and you've got the ability to create some incredible things. Add something like jQuery into the mix and you can rapidly create interactions that would previously have been imposible or taken serious time.
thanks! I'm a HTML dummy...

It's a little Irritating that Apple is browser sniffing for the site. Most of the demos would work in Firefox, Chrome and Opera. This makes it look almost like Safari is the only browser able to take advantage of them.
I think it's all right to promote their stuff... Still think Apple page is under used for it.

IE8 can do all of this!

It must so! Becouse everyone (chrome, safari, firefox) does it long time before.
