I hate web design. (Help...please?)
phatcactus (109 pencils) | Wed, 2005-07-06 16:21Behold my glorious website in Firefox.
Glorious, right?
Then try Safari. Almost glorious. The shadow-classed div in in front of its container, despite its lower z-index. I can probably deal with this by making the shadow the container instead of just a weird empty element inside, so that's cool. I can work with that.
Now IE6/Win. DIE DIE DIE. Oh god, all that work for naught. Wait, what's this IE7 business? You say it will help make IE6 behave? Well, that might work out okay then.
Or not. Anybody know what's up with that?

P.S. I know my markup is kinda sloppy. I haven't really made a web page since CSS was "the future". Pretty much for the same reason I'm freaking out here. I hate web design. Hate hate hate it. I don't even like this layout so much anymore. It's just the principle that I have to make it work. Argh.
Thanks in advance.

Looks fine to me (Safari).
Does the x/html validate? Does the css validate? If not then that could be your problem.
