It's a good start, but a few critiques:

1. Too cluttered
2. Make separate pages for home and portfolio. Don't make the user scroll down.
3. No need to center all your content, use CSS divs to organize it.
4. Hierarchy: Pick one element that you want your audience to remember (usually your logo/name of site) and then everything else is LESS important than that.
5. Too many fonts. Pick 2, 3 max. You've got more than that going on, not necessary.

Your layout is good and it's a good start, like I said, but it needs work before it's finished.
