We are mainly Mac users. Sorry! :)
you bought a dud!. . . lol sorry couldn't resist!
I still don't know why in this day and age ANYONE would want to deal with M$ windoze!? We have a PC in the IT Managers office that has taken her a WEEK to install and update windows XP! JUST so that it doesnt get bogged down with Viruses (Viri?) It really isn't worth it plugging holes in a swiss cheese system everyday!

and my pc comes with vista! sry iv tried macs! its not my style! im a gamer!
Take it back to the shop, get a refund, buy a Mac.
For the record, I have Vista on my MacBook as it was that or carry two laptops with me to work. but I use it maybe once a week, and I've just found a way to avoid using it altogether.
Once you go Mac, you never go back.

Vista on a MacBook, or MacBook Pro?!
I thought Vista wanted a powerfull graphic card...
By the way... Micro$oft is rubbish! ;)
Vists doesn't need powerful graphics to run, some of the effects won't show without a large GPU but all runs perfectly on my MacBook.
I have to say though, I hate it. Vista's shit.
The MacBooks are surprisingly capable and I've not noticed a difference in graphics performance from my old PPC iBook.

Indeed. The MacBook are great computers and much better comparing with iBooks, but when talking about 3D the MacBook simply doesn't have what it needs :(
Two months ago I was forced to swap my MacBook for a MacBook Pro because of the lack of capabilities of the MB regarding 3D work (Solidworks, 3DStudio, AutoCAD, Maya, etc...) :(
I have a Core Duo 2Ghz MacBook and it runs Vista beautifully with all the bells and whistles. It's very fast too.
no thanx!
I have ALWAYS said that EXACT phrase, too ("once you go Mac, you never go back").
Are you copying me??? ;-D

:( k... :( but im gamer so im not a mac fan...and i need to find a pc site! im out. c ya it was nice while it lasted...
I have found the complete opposite. I find that gaming is awesome on a Mac, not to mention the graphics and speed. Even on my shitty old eMac, for crying out loud. Are you insane??? I could only imagine how amazing it would be on a new dual processor Mac. OMG. I'm foaming at the mouth just thinking about it.
We are all using complex applications on our Macs daily (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, QuarkXPress™, etc.) so it's really odd that you say that only gamers can use PCs. Hmmm...
Make the switch, you'll be happy you did....

A friend of mine could not decide for days whether to get a PC or Mac laptop. Then I told her not to hesitate, get it both on a MacBook. She is so happy with it. She runs Vista alongside Mac OS X. I'm doing the same. Perfect solution.
The best thing is that you see all the files of the Vista drive from your Mac OS X. So you can open the files you saved in Vista within OS X directly. And you can save to the Vista drive from OS X.
I can imagine playing Unreal in Parallels in a window alongside doing serious work. lol
Don't try this at home kids! Leave this to the professionals multi-taskers! lol

You never see anybody asking questions about how to navigate or use OS X (Panther, Tiger, whatever), because it's sooooooooooooo user friendly. Whereas on this Vista PC garbage, people are literally confused.
What gives, Microsoft?
I was curious about the new anticipated Vista OS, so I went to one of those computer giants (i.e. Circuit City, Best Buy) to see what all the fuss was about. OMG—I really don't see what's so special about it, and already they're having issues like viruses and security breach, etc. OMG. I also noticed it looked surprisingly similar to OS X's interface, or at least they're trying to make it look like OS X. What's up with that?

Why does the internet kids hate vowels? What did vowels ever do to you?
I think you'll find it's "Why do internet kids hate vowels?", if we're going to be pedantic.
