Identity for a Hostal

Oh man, I really love this job...
This time one of my clients wanted to transform his home in some kind of Hotel... I was ordered to work in the identity of the hotel...
Ok. about the name... Casa ARASSARI why that name??? first of all is not a Hotel because the construction has only 12 rooms, laws here in ecuador doesnt allow to name hotel because the minimal number of rooms for that is 21...
Hostal gives some kind of cheap category... thats why CASA, that means HOME.
ARASSARI is because of some kind of bird native from Piñas-Ecuador (The hotel is located at that city) to 2 and a half hours from my Hometown

The Red and loose edges make me thing of the movie Hostel...not good for business. Unless of course it's run by the Russian mob.

I'd make the eye a solid object instead of the outline. And reduce the blur effect on the drop shadow effect, and then bring it closer and drop the opacity a touch.
I kind of lose the image of the bird with the shadow effect.

Get rid of all the drop shadows and gradients.
