illustrator
galloper (6 pencils) | Tue, 2008-01-29 00:01I have to make this question very quick...and really need help!! I have a hand drawn illustration that I have live traced in illustrator and I need all the lines to be the same width. Is there someway I can do this?

The only way I know of to make them the same width is to either trace by hand (good ol pen too!) or change the Live Trace setting to be a 1pt line instead of following the art. Not sure if this option exists, though.

thanx, I have been tracing with the pen tool but there's got to be an easier way.
Did you check your Live Trace settings?
Also, try Vector Magic. It's a free online app from Stanford University. It's even better than Live Trace, apparently.
And sometimes there isn't an easier way. Just look at clipping paths. Of all the apps out there that do this automatically, I've never found one that's as good as the good ol human eye and the pen tool. :)
