Illustrator Document Presets and Workspaces

Hi all,

I was wondering a few little things: a) is there a way to add preset document (or art-board) sizes to the default drop-down list? If so, how? And b) I am used to the saved workspaces in Photoshop, etc. but am lacking this feature in Illustrator (CS, btw). I know there is a workaround, but haven't been able to find it. Does anyone have any ideas in regards to this? Thanks in advance.
