Illustrator Vs Corel

What do you think !
Illustrator is good or Corel ??
let us have a tussel...................
90% creative yet.

Corel and Freehand are great but dying applications. Why invest your time in them. Illustrator is and will be the industry standard. Get over it.
In my familiarity the first and still prepress support artwork software is AI..No one beat this application I was worked A. Illustrator 88 to CS2
Always best in the Print Media Industry...!!!

If for whatever reason you need to collaborate on a document then you're going to run in to trouble.
Standards, standards, standards!
It's like running OS/2 Warp as an OS just because it works and is easy.
You can do ANYTHING in ANY graphics application if you know how.
I'm vehemently against things like plug-ins in photoshop too as most aren't that great and you can do the same thing yourself if you invest a little more time, which has the added bonus of raising your skill set too.
In the old days we used to say Freehand was 'it' then they changed what 'it' was and now 'it' is now old and obsolete. . . very soon Illustrator might not be 'it' and something else would become 'it'.

that reminds me of a quote from grandpa in the simpsons.
No illustrator or freehand, Corel?
+++ do you have xeal? +++
. . .Freehand! lol
Most I ever did was open up Corel to re-save a file. ONCE, after that it just sat on the shelf until we eventually threw it out. . .
I couldn't even GIVE it away!

Both are vector artspace, in some ways Illustrator is more powerful(Designing Work), in some ways Coral is more powerful(Text Arrangements)....
