Import Illustrator to Indesign?

Hi, I have designed to many ads in Illustrator and haven't worked in indesign before. Now I need to put a book of 200-260 pages together. Consisting of only adverts that was designed in Illustrator. How do I import illustrator adverts to indesign? Will I loose quality?

I read somewhere that indesign changes all files to jpeg when imported are this true? If so are the jpeg quality good enough for High gloss magazine of 200 more pages?
Then the printer wants this in pdf will I loose quality again?
thanks so much.
