indesgin CS Problem- Please Help.

This is my first entry and already I'm complaining and pleading for help! I am working on a bilingual newletter on Indesign cs, for weeks now with no problems. The Document with English content is fine- As for the other one with Arabic content it has gone crazy. There seems to be a problem with the Document. All my work has disappeared, I am left with a Blank Document- cant zoom in or out. The thing is, I still can export it as pdf and I can see it in the navigation window but i cannot move or zoom or edit!! Also, if I click randomly on the workspace, bounding boxes appear where my work is supposed to be?!? I had text and pictures in there..so if it was a text problems at least the pics will appear, wont they?

I already went and downloaded an update for the version of indesign I have...that didnt solve the problem- I am seeking help from all you professionals out there, perhaps I selected an option or something...though all I was doing was replacing fonts...Please dont say the file is corrupt....

Doesn't sound like your work is gone (you say you can select it and export it fine), just a display bug. How many pages is the document? if it's few, maybe try select all, copy, and then past it all into a new file.
Not much about 12 pages so far. I saved it also as a PDF and was able to open it in Illustrator for Edit. But the problem this is the first edition and it's also going to be the template for future issues.
Thanks for the help. I did try to copy/paste. It pastes then bam/ the page looks blank again :( I also tried copying from the pdf in illustrator and pasting but that pastes the whole sheet as an image- i cant edit. Any other suggestions?
IF IF it doesnt work out I will have to edit it in illustrator right? Is there any other way to export it and edit in indesign?
