Gradient palette annoyance

Someting that bothered me a long time was the behaviour of the gradient palette. When selecting a frame and applying a new gradient you are always stuck with the black/white gradient, but...

When you want to change the color of the white stop color you are immediately presented with the cmyk color model. When selecting the black you only get the possibility of a tint of the black swatch. If you want to quickly change the color model hold down the shift and click on Fill option. Now you get every color model available.
