indesign and monotone

i usually work in quark, and now i got an assigment to do in indesign.
I started experimenting with duo images, but all the documents were exported (in eps) in cmyk colors. what did i made bad?
you got any idea? thank you for your help in advance!

Hi,
The difference with quaark is that InDesign understands duotones made in Photoshop.
So if you create a duotone image in Photoshop and save it as a *.psd you won't have a problem.
See also "Colour the cheap way" in the Indesign section.
maybe this will help, otherwise come with some extra quaestions and I will be happy to consider

thanks, but my problem is, that i want to export the pages as row of duo/mono eps files, but this program only gives me the oportunity to export cmyk eps.

oh yeah, i figured it out why "preflight" told me i'm using 4 process and 2 spot colours: i had an empty line with default text colour.
dumb, isn't it?
