inhouse image bank

Hello All-

I am a production manager at a small advertising and marketing agency and I am looking for your input and ideas regarding what you do with clients images. We started a media server that houses all final images for our bigger clients where we will add metadata but I am wondering what everyone else is doing to organize and be able to find images easily and efficient.

thanks

We simply upload them to a google sites page that has a huge table in it and thumbnails of the images inside cells. When the page becomes too large we open a new one hierarchically.
