Initiale Logo

The color scheme is not decided yet, so I work in grayscale now.
I'm working on the identity of Initiale Design ( http://www.initialedesign.com )
The company will have 3 domains of activity that work together as a whole:
Web development/coding, Web design and Public Relations.
Thanks a lot for the comments on the first idea, and as a result I scraped that and come up with a brand new concept. How's this?

It should work in small
It should work in small (very small) versions too, that's why I included a small version to the right of both logo ideas.
it seems...
A little flimsy as a logo, not bold or eye catching. It's a little too complex, IMO, for a logo. What's your concept behind this particular take on the logo? What's the idea behind it?

Thank you Leaky Penny. I
Thank you Leaky Penny. I wanted something subtle with W for Web (and also the starting letter of my name).
I THOUGHT they were letters,
I THOUGHT they were letters, however I had made out "h-l-j" rather than "w".
Also, the calligraphic style of these letters leads me to believe that your client is more in the hospitality or stationary business rather than web work.
Just my opinion though.

I beg your pardon, but what is the "hospitality or stationary business", my English is a bit rusty.
Thanks a lot for the comments, I will wait for some more, and then I will work on a new version.
Hospitality is more of a
Hospitality is more of a welcoming trade such as hotels, resorts, and so on. Stationary is note paper, writing tools, etc.
Cheers.

I don't like this logo. It's just scribbles (quick handwriting) and doesn't really make a statement regarding web design nor does it effectively represent your company.
Read this post for more on how to design a logo:

Using the intials in your name and a W for web aren't really pushing the creative limits. Get out your pencil and paper and brainstorm what your company IS, then start doing some sketched designs. You might find a more solid direction that way.

i didn't see the W until you pointed it out. i presume your initials are WL?
more importantly, what do WL have to do with initialedesign? if you're going to make a logo for a company name, it has to relate to the company name, not to the initials of the owner of the company (unless the owner's name is part of the company name).
Not working.
I'm going to write a fairly short critique for this.
It looks like you scribbled in Illustrator. It's not memorable. It's not clear they are letters, especially the letters you intended them to be. I agree with the above comments -- my suggestion would be to start over.
What element in your company is unique or memorable?

Steph, I reposted your logo post from a few months ago. Good reading and definitely a timesaver when it comes to explaining what a logo is.
