inserting the copyright symbol
Mistyquilter (5 pencils) | Mon, 2010-07-19 18:29I have Photoshop CS3 and do not know how to find the copyright symbol. I would also like to know, step-by-step, how to use my copyright as a brush preset. Please!!!

and put "copyright" in the subject line.

The keyboard combination - option g - will give you the copyright symbol on a Mac. PC's have whack keyboards - none of the special characters are where they're supposed to be - so it might be a different keyboard combo if you're doing Windows.
So far as the brush, first type in the letter. Then flatten the art, select the letter using the marquee tool, go under the EDIT menu to DEFINE BRUSH. Name it, save it - boom done. I'm using an older version of Photoshop, so they might have moved things around a little - but the idea should still be the same.
Select the vector shapes in your toolbar.
Select the custom shape tool
Just next to it in your Option bar you can choose a custom shape.
In the basic set there is the Copyright symbol
