Flash people like to show off their skills. :)
I guess that they were trying to show the various places where certain people do their thinking. I have a few places that I like to go to when I need to stimulate my creativity, to get out of a rut.

If you are referring to The Economist workspaces then most of the computers I saw there were Macs. :)

At least they provided a menu for navigating. I hate going to those Flash sites where you try and find the next step.
It was 3D and it struck me that last week was the 25th anniversary of the Neuromancer. When I read that novel I got into the 3d of being in cyberspace. I think I still a copy of the book around, it is time for me to read it again.
