Inspirational Material to Unexpected Recipients

'Semblance', A carte blanche project that is meant to encourage the reinvention of old materials and communication tools. It is secretly delivered to people who need a moment of tactile silence and a reminder to slow down and rediscover the meaning of a 'Life in Balance'.
Printed on recycled translucent paper, and blind embossed on the braille writing.

I like this
This looks well defined, it has a direction and I like the strong color constrast.
Old world flavour with edgy
Old world flavour with edgy new graphics. Like the coordinating pieces and the palette you've selected. *Plus* the use of braille--clever widening of your inspirational-hungry audience. Curious though....the "plug" symbol--is the message to unplug or to plug in?
Or is it even a plug?...

The Actual Mark
is a 75% black AC Power In symbol overlapped by a burnt orange symbol. Meaning the transformation of the old ideas or tools into a reinvented life form.

As a designer, I love it.
If I were out-of-balance enough to prompt someone to slip this under my door, it might distress me quite a lot. It's so esoteric that I imagine a troubled person might find it more of a puzzle than a comfort. The palette is part of the problem. What if the red were blue/green? What if the black were warmer? What's with the plug? I'm really interested in that. What is its message to the intended recipient of the piece? Aside all of that, it's a really sexy job, well done. The embossed Braille was a brilliant touch, pardon the pun.
