Did you read the box?

It lists a set of minimum requirements, which you clearly do not meet. You don't have a computer with the right processor, it isn't fast enough, you don't have enough RAM, you probably don't have enough hard drive space, you don't have the right video card, I'm guessing that you might not have the latest OS (could be wrong about that one).

All of this info is listed on the box, as well as the Aperture Web page. You need to do just a little bit of reading before making an investment such as this (unless of course you simply got the dmg file from bit torrent or some other file sharing site.)

Minimum System Requirements

One of the following Macintosh computers:

  • Power Mac G5 with a 1.8 gigahertz (GHz) or faster PowerPC G5 processor
  • 15- or 17-inch PowerBook G4 with a 1.25 GHz or faster PowerPC G4 processor
  • 17- or 20-inch iMac G5 with a 1.8 GHz or faster PowerPC G5 processor
  • Not supported on Intel-based Mac computers with Rosetta; a Universal version to be available before the end of March 2006

Mac OS X version 10.4.3 “Tiger” or later

1GB of RAM

5GB of disk space for application, templates, and tutorial

It is possible to install

It is possible to install Aperture on a machine that doesn't meet the requirements. Please use that search bar up there before posting questions that have already been installed, and make at least a half-assed attempt to write legibly.

I have written down how to do it in the other thread, and that RapidShare file also has instructions attached. If you're a retard or can't follow directions, too bad. I'm not going to write it down a third time.

tisk* tisk* Mackie,, such happy attitude.

Either way it's not worth it. And i'm not going to tell you how to install it either :P It was made to be slow on anything that... well hell It was made to be slow no matter what! It's just a slow app. Try Lightbox instead, sooo much pimped out faster and has curves for image editing
