I'm selling my old G4...

Can I legally install the Panther software that came with my new G5

on the G4 I'm selling?

And last but not least:

Will I be able to keep upgrading my Panther on the g5?

Not legally, no. To fully comply with the user agreement, you can only install it on YOUR machine. You could install it on the G4, but you would be required to sell the CD and all rights to use the software along with it.

Of course, we all know this isn't a perfect world, and I'm fairly certain Apple won't come after you if you do it!
