Interesting new TV show

Tuned in last night out of curiosity. Subway was the client. It's worth a watch if you want to see how the agency wheels turn or if you just want to watch ad folks squirm when they present their ideas - good, bad, incredibly ingenious or incredibly stupid.

Coincidentally... "Pitch" was my idea for an agency name. My previous idea "Advice" (imagine it in two colors... "Ad" "vice") was already used by a Miami agency (Ad.vice). So if you want a good name for an ad agency - I am obviously your man. :-)

It's definitely a cool show, but I'm not sure why an Agency would agree to have their inner workings divulged like this especially a design / media Agency. I feel like there's a reason why giants like BBDO opted out of this show...

Free exposure. BBDO doesn't need it and they probably thought it would help boost their mystique factor. :)
That's true, can't argue with semi-prime time television exposure. It's like... a hour long commercial dedicated to your company and I'm sure they're getting paid to do it.

It would be interesting to know if both companies are getting paid.
Saw another episode the other night - think it was Monday at 10pm, so they must be doing the cable rerun thing where AMC broadcasts it multiple times throughout the week. The Subway episode was better - but this one was a worthwhile watch too... some kind of plumbing/electrical/etc... repair company. One struggling agency from Houston against a well-established Toronto firm. Never hear of either of them.
