You say its playful and not too much high tech. From experience, people not in the know with technology prefere the friendly way to getting the job done (like Apple's marketing stragegies and the way Steve explains the simplicity and easy access methods). If they have a really techy appearance i think you could be limiting the audience to geeks and a few others.
End of the day, its all about the content, in this case, the services that the companies offer. If you've got a great appearance (which imo is what Ivan has created with this logo), that will get people to look at the company and services. If they services match up to the high standard company appearance then you've got a great business.
It's a bit playful, but as Jammo said, it makes the company more approachable. I think 2bits clients aren't hard core programmers, otherwise they wouldn't need their service. I know the owner of the company and he's very friendly and approachable. He wouldn't give you the tech mumbo jumbo that scares people off. Will see if he agrees. :)
This is more of what I had in mind. This new version is cleaner, easier to read, and I don't have to think about it to see who it is. It's corporate, yet a bit fun. Plus, I can see it working much better on business cards, letterheads and a Web site.
Congrats Ivan, I think this one is a winner.

While I do love the binary version, this one is completely more stable and safe choice. I think its polished looking and the 2 bits above the "i" really do give it that techno/geek feel.

This is a winner. meets all the conditions for a logo. I personally like the use of 2 colors only. makes a better visual impact, also the contrast between the 2 color is well balanced.
Very nice, but like someone else mentioned, if I didn't know it was a "2", I would probably think it was a p, because of the placement. Does that make sense (I can't remember the technical terms right now, so let me try to explain. Normally we expect a 2 to go to the top of the capital letter height... but this one only goes to the top of the undercase letter height, so at first glance, it looks more like a p than a 2 just because that's what our eyes are used to seeing)? I think you might want to try making the 2 taller, more like a capital letter in comparison to the undercase letters, and see if that makes it more obvious that it is a 2, rather than a p.
happened to stumble across the 2bits site today and knew I had seen the logo somewhere else before. you might want to ask the client not to squish your logo on their site.
I love the white on gray version. I think it looks much superior without color. I think the green is nice but the shapes are good enough for black, gray or white. Nice mark.
Bullseye for me!
I really like this one Ivan, It has a very nice feel to it,
I like the 2 'bits' above the i - its all about the details ;)
Top work as always Ivan, Im like this one a lot... Lets hope our storming Tiger friend isnt harsh on this one ;) ) (just kidding T/S)
2 dots ...
2 dots for "i" is a nice touch and all it ever needs of that 'tech/bits&bytes' stuff ...
although i like it, logo itself seems very 'playfull' and not too much 'high-tech & corporate' ...
This could work to the clients advantage though

It's true

This is by far the best... I

Now that's better!

More Iconographic = Winner
Nice, Ivan. You work fast.
Abstracted enough so it it very interesting. Way to stay on that horse.
Clear, Stylish, practical

YES!!
You nailed it, Ivan! Congrats! :D
There you go!

looks like it reads "pbits"
looks like it reads "pbits" with an underscore...
true
kind of like DLP projectors VS lcd... some people see the rainbow effect. Maybe break the two right after then start up at the bits
First one
First one is really nice..
Good work!
Very nice, but like someone

I've done some options for client. Will see which one he likes most.
