I would give a description of the ogo here, but you can just as easily find it on a previous post here: http://creativebits.org/inthought_logo_another_attempt
I have been tweaking the logo and found that pressing the letters down just didn't look right to me. So this is what came out last night. I made some adjustments to the arms and gave it two different poses. Also playing with the ideas of using an outline which has less punch to it bit I find appealing.
As always, please comment :)
wow
Great improvement! But, tonight, I will pull together a quick sketch of the letters to show you what it is i mean. But these are looking sweet man! I like the square behind the character...btu something comes to mind about thinking outside the "box"...hmm...i'll see what i can pull out if you don't mind :)
I'm certainly much happier
I'm certainly much happier with where it stand too :) input here is REALLY helping me fine tune this concept. I'm certainly not going to say no to you sketching up an idea, input is great!
Meh...
An improvement.....keep building. I would recommend staying away from gradients, they dont really work well with logos. If I had to choose one, I would say the very top one, works in color and grayscale!
I agree, most gradients come
I agree, most gradients come out very poorly when printed, but I know that printed material will be limited for me as this logo is going to be primarily used online. When it finally goes to print (not for a couple years at least) I will either make it flat or have a chat with the printing company I deal with at work who seem to make nearly imposible print jobs look amazing :)
Looking Really Good!
I like the one in the top left hand corner (excluding the top two with the box around the character). I really like the lettering, and the "thinking man" looks great!
I really like the simplicity, yet great effectiveness of this logo.
Good job!

Great improvement!
Top blue one, but lose the gradient
Third from the top,
Third from the top, right-hand side. I don't know why, but that keylined dude is really working for me in that logo. I would take a look at Art Fiend's sketched suggestion though tonight to add to this great start.
ttfn!
