Fix the iPhone activation server temporarily unavailable error

If you're experiencing issues with your iPhone 3.0 software update because the Apple servers are overloaded try this:
- Click Update in iTunes.
- Wait till you get the message "Expanding package" with a progress bar.
- Disconnect your internet (Turn Airport off or simply take the Ethernet cable out).
- Wait for the update to complete.
- Reconnect internet.

It does, but not every feature will work. No MMS, nor stereo bluetooth.
A freaking 20 dollar Nokia phone can send MMS messages, the iPhone is more than capable and the people that bought the original iPhone actually ponied up 600 bucks for it. That's pretty shitty of Apple!
Apple has the right to release an iPhone with the configuration they want. And you the customer have the right to buy it or not.
You also have the right to say that it's pretty shitty of Apple! :)
Has anyone unlocked the new iPhone 3G S yet?
