On iPhone tap time to jump to top
Ivan | Tue, 2009-07-21 11:55
Scrolling down when reading a page in iPhone's Safari is bearable but scrolling back is a pain.
There is an easy way to jump to the top of the page, so you can access site navigation or the url and search fields.
Just tap at the top of the screen where the time is displayed.

Make me wish I had an Iphone to test this out!... not lol

What phone do you use?
You only need to click once at the top to jump. Its a really useful function.
I fixed the post.
So intuitive!

I am not Steve Ballmer pretending not to be me!
In fact it is. OS X always took advantage of the corners and sides of the screen as they are the easiest to reach with your mouse. This is a very basic user interface rule that Windows missed out on causing unnecessary strain for their users.
I was wondering if there were actually sites online where i could get free ringtones? because everyone i have seen you have to pay for?
thanks alot

Ivan, you always have a cool tip :) It also works with photo album.
I use a casio GZ One, I would love the iphone to death if I had one, but I need a phone that can take abuse, and keep on kickin. I am a fire performer as well as web designer so I am always out in nature trying to get some of the coolest shots I can, climbing mountains, going through waterfalls, and more.
So phone having abilities like water and shock resistant is definitely key.
If they made an indestructible version of the iphone i'd be more likely to buy. I am very interested in the iphone and have had tons of ideas for apps but im still being held back.

I agree. It would be great if there was a more robust version of the iPhone. You can buy covers but that won't protect the screen from cracking.
Yeah one of my good friends bought the case specifically to protect it better and the same day she dropped it, and screen cracked. It would be cheaper for her to get a new iphone then to fix the screen... how lame-o...

What have you guys been doing with your phones? Mine has taken some grief and acquried some scratches on the back and 1 on the screen - I've even dropped it a few times but never cracked it.
I think dropping it is a major issue as with any small device.
It would also be good to have the iPhone waterproof against accidental splashing or rain damage.
