My only problem with non iPod music players is that the iPod is the only one to support .aac format, which all my ITMS purchase are in. Until someone else supports .aac, i will continue to desire an iPod.

you can convert aac to mp3, but i realize that it will reduce the quality.

the color screen is cool, but useless. just takes too much power for no purpose.

also, for me nothing beats the iPod design, but than i'm an apple fanatic, so i don't count :)

iTunes bought songs you can't convert to mp3 without burning to CD and ripping back. If I wanted to burn cds, I wouldn't need an mp3 player. Hehe.

I bet ya that you will be able to download movies on it. I know a few manufacturers were talking about a movie player simillar to the iPod.

Hehe, videos on a 2" screen? Pocket version wide screen? :D

I don't know, I'm sure there is a market for it, but I'd rather watch movies on the silver screen and TV production on big screen TV.

I just can't imagine myself looking at my iPod on my lap for two hours.

There is a big market for even a 2" TV. Kids love this stuff and they have loads of $$. I have a DVD in my car which is ony a 6.6" screen and have never REALLY used it. I can't drive with it on since it's too distracting and watch most of my movies at home. Still, I paid close to 1000$ for it a couple of years ago and is more of a cool gadget that impresses people than a usefull tool. Now tell me you have never bought cool gadgets just for the fact they were cool!?

Apple is the best! No matter what. Oh, BTW, I cooled down since my last post. lol. I was more than slightly distraught. Apple Rules!
