sure is from iceland.
this waterfall is called Skógarfoss (translated roughly Wood-waterfall) and it's about 90 minutes from reykjavik, where I live.
you can actually walk up on the right side of it and all the way to the top.
but just to tease you and make you wan't to come here, here are some pictures i've taken the last year or so in iceland.
these are awesome! what is that black in the blue ice?
it's just dirt. those are all just pieces that are braking away from a glacier that lies there.
:o
Gorgeous! I already know where I'm moving next!!!

Incredible photos, guys! Thanks. :)

Great photos! You might benefit from submitting those pics to istockphoto.comand getting paid for them, if you haven't done so already!
so how does that work? you get paid once or every time they sell your image? have you uploaded any?

I know several people who make some extra cash on the side using this site, plus there are a lot of professional photographers that make part of their living using this site. I just recently signed up for it and am awaiting approval, and I can't wait to start uploading. Basically, each time someone downloads one of your pictures (doesn't just have to be photography), you get a commision. So, if you have a somewhat large portfolio on there, you have a good chance of making out with a nice chunk of change each month. I see quite a few photos on there that, in my opinion, aren't very good but still sell to people willing to pay. As your istockphoto account grows, you have the choice of having them cut you a check every month, or you have the option of downloading any of their photos at no charge. Plus, everything is hi-res! I think it's definitely got to be one of the best stock photo sites out there - great value and great quality.
sounds interesting.
the only problem as i see is that there are so many people who are willing to give their pictures for free and that creates an great competition to pay sites. for example there are more than 110K images on http://www.sxc.hu/ completely free, also hi-res.
on the other hand i can see many excellent photographers from there migrating to a payed solution.
good luck with your venture!
well... i just might check this out!
thanks for the tip!
