If Microsoft had bought it, I'd see that four colour flag thing all over by now! Everything of Microsoft gets that flag thing right away!

But if it's true, wow! :!:

Now... i'm from Central America when obviusly don't have an "April 1st. Fool's Day"... we have on december 28 a "Dia de los Inocentes" (Innocent's day or something like that), an is a conmemoration of Pilato's Children Slaughter days after the Nativity. So that day you have try to play someone else a joke an "innocent" joke. So anybody can tell me, where this tradition comes from??????

(Someone just tell me, Mexico have the same celebration)

I have no idea where it comes from, but we've been cracking jokes on each other since kindergarden. Nothing serious though. Like you can't do any serious damage to anything or anyone. Usually it's satirical.

I remember Google was setting up an office on the moon last April and this year they released a cool new product. Google Gulp. http://www.google.com/googlegulp/

Here is some other sites who published 04.01 jokes:

Hi - I believe April Fool's Day came about when the pagans (In France, I believe, I could be wrong) continued to celebrate April 1st as New Year's Day, not wanting to accept the new Gregorian Calendar when New Year's Day was moved to January 1, even though the country officially accepted it. The other folks pretty much called them fools and played practical jokes on them because of it.

Welcome ECLombardo!

You seem to be right. Here is more from Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/April_Fool%27s_Day
