Jeff Gard Royal LePage Triland Realty

This is a website I designed a little over a year ago. I am very pleased with how it turned out and look forward to hearing others comments on the website.

The client is Jeff Gard of Royal LePage Triland Realty. He is a real-estate agent here in London, Ontario, Canada.

...which is not a bad thing. It looks professional but not too stodgy. I am still trying to decide whether or not I like the red-orange text in the nav bar though. It seems like maybe it sticks out too much.

A couple of things though.

As much as I really like the animated clouds on the home page, if this site is for a realator, shouldn't there be a house or two instead of an open area? If he sold just land I would understand that...just looks a little empty, maybe a nice neighborhood shot and do that sweet cloud animation you got goin on.

My other comment, navigation is sweet, however, it looks a little disconnected from the rest of the page, I understand its like that for the rollovers, maybe just tighten the space between the navigation and the content. Just needs a little tightening up.

But as the site stands, I still think it all looks very nice, like calvin above said, corporate, but not stodgy, id have to agree.

Looks very nice and clean. I like the whole top part, except for the blue overlay on the right. Maybe it could be smoother, but probably you didn't need it at all.

Some stiling on the thumbnail wouldn't hurt.

Overall good job! I"m sure you would do it a bit differently today.

But of course that's why you posted it here. You missed the mark on the real estate and marketing look and feel. Not that you want some shlocky thing with pop ups, animated banners etc. It's just that you need something warmer, not cool, not corporate; personal and freindly. Other than that I think the site is a nice layout and all, navigates well. Just made for a tech blog, a computer company, etc.
