The Jolly Ostrich Logo proof 2

I took into account 3dogmama's suggestions from my first post. Here is one of the edits; proof 2.1 displays the other edit.

I put the "j" at an angle so that the descender flushes with the "r's" terminal. I really liked the way that it turned out as it makes the logo feel more playful and thus more jolly.

For this method to work in black and white I had to get rid of the outlined 'jolly' and replace it with a grey fill. At 1" it didn't translate very well with the outline (as a note the 1" isn't 1" x 1" but 1" in height but w/e that scales to in width, I just didn't change that detail with this proof.)

I also changed the color from orange to blue. and in proof 2.1 the logo is green. Why? Just to play with different colors. I'm still partial to the orange despite the Halloween look. What do you guys think?

I was wrong (now how many women say that!)...return to the orange...it was much stronger. I prefer this look to the other with the graphic...it became too busy too fast.

You won't be hiding your head with this one. Nice work.
