Keypad acts like arrow keys in InDesign CS2

My keyboard keypad on the right doesn't type in numbers, instead it acts more like directional keys, like some video games. They work fine in all other programs. I have no idea if this is the default on here. Thanks, JAK

Hit the number lock button above the keypad to turn number lock on, thus allowing you to use the pad for numbers rather than direction.
