Killbridge Concept 2
Some time ago I posted a website concept (1) and logo concept (2) for my "company" called "killbridge". I think it was about 6 months ago and I'm still not really happy with it so I created something new.
I like serif typefaces (or should i say fonts?) for small texts. I also like clean and simple layouts. A friend of my said he thought most people would find the layout to simplistic, I think he has a point, what do you think?

Well... it's just so simple
Well... it's just so simple that it's kind of boring. I think it's an OK design for a blog, but your older idea is better for a portfolio site. I really like that other logo! Maybe you could find a good in-between, using the previous logo and a new layout.
I prefere your previous designs
This now feels quite generic and doesnt have as much character and warmth as your previous site idea and logo does.
As Apfhex was saying, try replacing this logo with your older one and see how you get on, i to like the speech bubble and orange contrast of your previous designs.

Thanks for the comments, I will resconsider my previous logo and will get my content together for the website.. until now I just designed without thinking much about the content.
I add a new "critique" when it's ready :). Comments on the logo+site in this "critique" are still appreciated :).
