Ladies Suit Manufacturer
Mikitjan (16 pencils) | Tue, 2010-03-23 08:09Hello there,
I need some advices for one of my student's logo design.
It's for a company specialized in producing working suits for women. The target market is medium to high-class working woman in the cities.
There are some restrictions. It can only use black as a color and must use logogram with five letter only (without any additional explanatory words).
It's quite difficult to make it not looking too 'generic' (too common).
Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

You are the teacher, right? Aren't you supposed to have an opinion of your own students work? I'll give him a B+.
Without my sense of direction, I don't know where I'd be.
don't like the shape it's still not sexy as needed for this naming.
the shape is too much cheap.
you could try other perspectives, maybe without upper horizontal cut.
yes I'm brazilian xD
better something curvy near this one extracted from Diavlo font
now you can kick your "v" to trash bin =]
yes I'm brazilian xD
So much more can be done with this. That shape is PERFECT for a womens suits line.
Use some imagination and do research on womens business suits.
Can you see it now?

I feel dirty now.

More stylization needed with the collar...perhaps thin lapel wide lapel?
Try losing the v in the word and simply use the graphic, encase the in and the io in breast pockets, etc....?

Like the V shape, but would like to see it even more exaggerated.
The word "invio" does nothing for me. Work it.
I do like the 'V' shape. Looks like the boobys are being pressed together!! - very feminine!
Re: shawfire's booby comments...you'd best take care where you end up placing the "." of the "i"s....or not!
