I'm just sick of web sites that contain stuff I may want to read, but the design is so bad, I can't even start! What did this guy use to design this site? Word?

Strong Bad has some great pointers on web design. Don't forget to click the link at the end to see The Cheat's web-work. I like how click ENTER re-opens the page in another nested frame. Genius in its anarchy.
