I was asked to do a logo for a babysitting service in my area. Not really sure where to go with it so let me know what you think. The tree, sun and cloud are similar to a photo they were using on their flyers. They seem to like that image so I wanted to stay with it, but you anyone has any other ideas please feel free to let me know! Thanks!

Hey there. Well I think you have too many elements going on for a logo. You need to either narrow down the imagery or make them more of a single unit. Right now they are all separate pieces and my eye doesnt know where to begin. I think you could even just pick one of the elements and run with it. Refine your type more and then find a way to compilment the logotype with the imagery you try to use. Also think of the color palette for the logo type. Black seems to be a little harsh especially if you are trying to saying things like trustworthy, caring, friendly, etc…
