Leopard Help

Hello everyone,

At my work we recently got the new iMacs which run Leopard and we have an issue when transferring files onto our Windows 2003 server. Any folder we transfer to the server longer than 31 characters long will not be transferred. The following error message is shown:

"You cannot copy some of these items to the destination because their names are too long or contain invalid characters for the destination. Do you want to skip copying these items and continue copying the other items?"

When we used to run Tiger this never happened and can not figure out why this happens. More than likely I am assuming it is a compatibility issue. If anyone knows any solution/advice it will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The type of internet protocol being used? Experiment logging in to server with smb:// and afp:// and see if behavior changes. You'll be able to turn on apple file sharing protocol on Windows 2003

Without my sense of direction, I don't know where I'd be.
