Most web services like Twitter for example require a unique email address for each account you create. What if you want to create two or more accounts, but only have (or want to use) one Gmail address?
You Gmail address has a unique feature. If you put a dot in between any of the letters within your id the email still arrives to the same mailbox. So for example if you email address is: firstname.lastname@example.org all the below addresses are valid and will arrive to the same inbox:
You can use each to sign up for a different Twitter account and stay organized within one Gmail account.

Historically, photographic print toning has used chemical toners like sepia and selenium to make prints with fairly limited colors ranging from brown to purple-reds. With the digital process, however, there are many more color options available together with a near Zone System level of control. For the fainthearted, this digital route is also reversible, so there’s no danger of ruining your perfectly good image file. Subtlety, if you want it, is there in bundles, with no need to produce intimidating Colorvir-like prints, unless hallucinogenic effects are your thing. Digital coloring in CS4 means you can have infinite control over the toning process adding color across the whole image or dropping it in up to ten different tonal sectors. Following is a number of different routes to image toning, starting with the easiest and ending with the more interesting Duotone techniques.
QuickLook is a quick view application that is part of OS X 10.5 Leopard. It allows you to quickly see images, videos, text and other files without actually opening them. To active Quick Look just select the file and press space.
While QuickLook can read many file types, there is one common file type it can't preview — compressed files. See the image above of how QuickLook previews a compressed file. Not much useful information.
The confidentiality of the materials you create for you client is very important. And, the bigger the account the bigger the stakes. Email is not a secure communication channel by default. Admins of every server that your email passes through can theoretically read your non-encrypted email.
Therefore, it doesn't hurt to add an extra layer of security when sending through important documents and presentations to your client. So, how to secure your documents without complicated additional software?
When you copy and paste text using Apple-C / Apple-V you are not only copying the textual data but also the styling of the text. This is not a good thing most of the time as it would create a mix of different font types, colors, weights, etc. in your document and you have to manually reset to make it look consistent.
When you move between mail servers or you want to get rid of old email accounts in Mail.app, you should pay extra attention when deleting them.
When you remove the account not only the account details will be deleted but all the email messages that are associated with the account will be wiped too. These emails are gone forever. You can not retrieve them from the Trash.
